Yes, I do not teach you how to be a Nurse Coach, but how to apply that knowledge in the clinical setting and to create a program. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you have completed or currently be in a certification program to become a Board-Certified Nurse Coach. You do not have to have the actual board certification completed.
If you are not yet a Nurse Coach and want info on different programs please reach out and I am happy to offer recommendations!
Today! You will get immediate access to the course as soon as you complete the payment steps :)
Yes! You can complete these anytime and anywhere...the course can be accessed on a desktop, laptop, and even a cell phone through the Kollab app! As there are 10 continuing education contact hours, it will take you an estimated 10 hours to complete the course training content, though likely much longer to actually create a program :)
As mentioned above, the 24 training modules are self-paced and broken down intentionally into no more than 20 min. videos to make them easy to complete anytime, anywhere! They are paired with a companion workbook to guide you through completion of the video training modules, as well as offer reflection and supportive tools and resources.
I encourage you to complete the modules as soon as possible as they build the foundation of creating your program! However, you will have life-time access to the modules!
Please note that you have one year from the date of the course purchase to complete the course for continuing education contact hours; see below for more details.
Absolutely!! This course is designed to help you build clarity and structure before proposing a program. You can move through the content at your own pace, explore ideas, and prepare for next steps when the timing feels right — without pressure to act immediately.
Nope! While that is my specialty area and thus where my main focus is...you definitely can get utilize the foundational elements to create your own program in any clinical setting!
Awesome! It is more challenging to come in from the outside, though it has been done, but truthfully, that is not my area of expertise so I don't speak to that nor do I have contract examples for you. However, this content and the support will still be so helpful as you create an actual HBNC program!
Hmmmm...Yes and no...this course was really created for staff. Will some of the elements work, yes- likely! However, all the data, the examples, etc. are all focused on staff.
Absolutely! However, my strong recommendation is to start with nurses because you will likely have your biggest return on investment there in the clinical setting! Starting your pilot with nurses can showcase the value quickly and allow for expansion to other clinicians.
Continuing Education Contact Hours: This course is approved by Maul Wellness Company LLC, a provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 18158, for 10 contact hours. Over the past 3 years, I’ve built a successful hospital-based nurse coaching program in my own organization — one that led to a 17% reduction in first-year RN turnover and saved millions in associated costs.
I created this training & coaching program to give you the tools, confidence, and guidance I wish I had when I started.
I’m passionate about helping nurses reconnect with their purpose, reduce burnout, and create wellness-focused programs within the healthcare system — from the inside out.
I’ve also supported nurse coaches across the country in building their own HBNC programs, giving them the tools, structure, and confidence to bring this important work into their hospitals.
